Menzies Distribution Logistics Limited (formerly Bibby International Logistics Limited), a £1.7bn turnover group of businesses, is an international leading logistics solutions provider and freight forwarding business specialised in three sectors: food raw materials, chemicals and energy.
The company has offices in the UK and has representation in over 135 countries to arrange shipments from point of production to final use worldwide and also with access to an extensive in house warehousing and distribution, ship management and materials handling services.
Assent began working with Menzies Distribution Logistics Limited in 2016 to implement their first ISO 9001 system, including documented information, key processes, and liaising with the external certification body.
Since gaining their ISO 9001 accreditation in May 2017, Menzies Distribution Logistics Limited have continued to work with Assent to maintain their QMS, including the transition from the 2008 version of the standard to the 2015 version.
Most recently, both the 2020 internal and external audits had to be undertaken remotely by all parties in order to ensure the QMS continued to operate at its best.
Menzies Distribution Logistics Limited successfully achieved recertification in June 2020.
