Construction Products Regulation and CE & UKCA Marking
Under the Construction Products Regulations in the EU, and those adopted by the UK after Brexit, steel or aluminium products that are load bearing and installed in a permanent structure must comply with BS 1090 and the respective CE/UKCA Markings, including an assessment by a notified/approved body.
Without this, products can not be placed on the EU or UK markets.
