CMS Network UK was established in 1968 in New York City. Today, from its South London Bermondsey, base, CMS provides mail distribution and mail room services internationally. CMS Network is part of The Delivery Group.
How has Assent helped CMS, and what have been the benefits?
In 2015 Assent assisted CMS to successfully achieve ISO 27001 certification, and we continue to work together to support the CMS Information Security Management System.
The company was initially concerned that adding ISO 27001 compliance would come with an increased admin overhead and unnecessary changes to their organisation, however, we managed to build an effective management system that addressed the risks within their business, and minimised paperwork.
The on-going relationship with Assent has helped CMS during tender submissions and in rolling-out awareness training to staff.

“I was put in contact with Rob Clements through a mutual acquaintance. They told me that Rob (and Assent) would be able to assist us in achieving our ISO 27001 accreditation. From the get go, I found Rob to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He assessed what we currently had in place, and was able to help expand on those aspects, while guiding us in the parts that we need to improve/put in place.
We passed our 27001 Audit and retained the services of Rob and his team so we could continue to improve as our company grew and expanded into near areas.
The company is currently working with Rob to create an online training aid that we will use to improve employee understating in security awareness.
